Research Associate
Rose Johnson is a part-time post-doctoral research associate at UCL. She is interested in how people interact with technology in-the-wild. In particular how technology can be designed to empower people to appropriate it for their own goals. She has a PhD in Computer Science from UCL. For this she studied how to design real-time feedback to help people to learn to play the violin by building prototype systems and studying them in-the-wild. She also has an MPhys in Theoretical Physics from Swansea University.
